The Yomiuri Giants handed the Yokohama Bay Stars a sound defeat, 13-3, at Ballpark of Yamagata College. Hiromi Nagao was a main contributor to the win. He was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Yomiuri. Akshey Battacharjee, the winner, improved to 1-2.
