Saitama Seibu had no answer for ORIX Buffaloes hurler Hiroshi Kawamura, who overwhelmed Lions hitters as the Buffaloes coasted to a 7-0 victory. Hayami Iwamoto finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The Buffaloes, at 20-21, have now won 5 straight.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, second baseman Yashiya Okazaki came through big-time for the Buffaloes. With ORIX leading 4-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
