Sugimoto, Golden Eagles Too Much for Marines
Tohoku Rakuten played host to Chiba Lotte at the friendly confines of Sailboats Ballpark.

Tohoku Rakuten designated hitter Kiyotaka Sugimoto had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-5 win over the Chiba Lotte Marines. The Golden Eagles improve their record to 19-13 with the win over Chiba Lotte.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, first baseman Chotaro Nakanishi delivered a key hit for the Golden Eagles. With Tohoku Rakuten trailing 2-0, he ripped a 2-run home run.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Sugimoto told the Tohoku Rakuten Today.
