Dragons Get One-Run Win at Tokyo Yakult
The Chunichi Dragons knocked off the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, 4-3, at Rebels Ballpark. Danny Dunlap, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Chunichi won. The first baseman went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was Shichinosuke Mizuno's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Dae Che took the loss for Tokyo Yakult. Earning his 1st save for Chunichi was Jim Unknown.

Early in the game, Dunlap had a 2-run double for Chunichi. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Dragons on top, 2-0.

"I like what I saw today," said Chunichi manager Nick Murphy, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."

The third-place Dragons improved to 18-14.
