Khang Twirls a Gem for Yomiuri
|
Tae-sang Khang was superb against Yokohama. The left-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the CL in wins with 3, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 4-0 Giants victory. The first-place Giants improved to 18-9.
Khang, a native of Anyang, South Korea, was dealing all game. He kept Yokohama hitters off-balance, while giving the Giants 6 quality innings. Khang threw 88 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Khang.
