Dragons Get One-Run Win at Yokohama
|
The Chunichi Dragons turned back the Yokohama Bay Stars, 6-5, at Cuckoos Stadium. Kol-in-sen Koo was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The win gives Chunichi a record of 5-4.
With a runner on 1st and two out in the top of the seventh inning, right fielder Dustin Adkinson delivered big for the Dragons. Chunichi was leading 4-1 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"We played hard and won," said Koo. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
