The Quebec Armada grabbed a 7-1 win over the Brooklyn Black Knights at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Quebec catcher Dong Kan was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Their 49-31 record puts the Armada first in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, center fielder Wei-qiang Ju came through big-time for the Armada. With Quebec leading 2-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
