The Cabo San Lucas Toreros stymied the Rubber City Rhinos, 7-1, at Field de Los Layendas. George Guinn, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for Cabo San Lucas. The winner was Masazumi Ohayashi, who threw 119 pitches over 8 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits.
