Tight Tilt Goes to Panthers, 4-3
The Pleasantville Panthers picked up a win at Swamp Foxes Stadium, knocking off the College Park, 4-3. On the mound for Pleasantville was right-hander Kevin Miller, who played a pivotal role in the win. Miller, now 2-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 3 earned runs. Robert Simeone sewed up the save, his 6th.

Adam Fisher, who is tied for 9th in the HAL in bases on balls with 20, helped out the Pleasantville cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman went 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk.

"We squandered some opportunities," said College manager Mike Gauthier.

At 13-14, the Panthers are currently 4th in the Hank Aaron League Bob Gibson Division.
