Tigers Win, Brandenburg hits 2 home runs
Tioga Central third baseman Mike Brandenburg was instrumental in his team's 9-6 win over the Topeka West Chargers. Brandenburg, who is tied for 9th in the PRL in doubles with 8, went 2-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tigers. Harry Dougherty was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Tioga Central is now 17-10.

In the top of the first, Brandenburg had one of his most important at-bats: a 3-run home run off Pat Knecht that staked the Tigers to a 3-0 lead.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Tioga Central manager Gabriel McKinnes.
