Harris Hits 2 home runs in Islanders Win
A 5-RBI performance from the 18-year old right fielder Dante Harris helped the Grand Island Islanders beat the Riverside Poly, 10-7. Tim Johnson, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held the Poly to 4 earned runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 7. The third-place Islanders have won 7 straight.

When the Islanders needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Harris who delivered. Facing Riverside pitcher Chris Anderson the bottom of the third with runners on 1st and 2nd, Harris hit his 5th home run of the year. It made the score 5-1.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Harris.
