Tigers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Tigers
Tioga Central second baseman Aaron Blaise picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Tenafly Tigers, 6-5. Tioga Central reliever Preston Wilson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Curtis absorbed the loss. Harry Dougherty earned his 6th save in 7 tries.

It could have been a different outcome for Tioga Central, had it not been for Cory Crow, the 17-year old shortstop . Crow contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Tioga Central up, 6-5.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Crow, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

The Tigers, at 16-9, lead by one game in their division.
