The Topeka West Chargers grabbed a 5-3 win over the Billings West Golden Bears at Breakers Ballpark. Topeka West right fielder Eddie Lannigan was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once to earn player of the game honors. Pat Knecht picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 4 in 8 innings. Picking up the save was Chris Marks, his 8th.
