Victory Over Mustangs Takes Riverside to 17-4
In a tight contest at Apollos Ballpark, the Riverside Poly edged the Downsview Mustangs by the score of 7-6. Riverside right fielder Tristan Erdahl, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Riverside has an impressive 17-4 record.

Had Matt Block not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Block hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Poly.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Riverside manager Gary Corwin.
