The Riverside Poly grabbed a 19-1 win over the Tenafly Tigers at Apollos Ballpark. Riverside left fielder Marshall Clark went 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 9 to earn player of the game honors. Willard Gibson, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held Tenafly to 1 earned run on 5 hits over 7.2 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. Riverside has 5 straight wins, Tenafly 3 straight losses.
