Indians Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Jaylin Wyke was instrumental in his team's 6-2 triumph over the Francis Lewis Patriots. The center fielder was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Jefferson Indians. Jefferson leads the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division by 2½ games.

The Indians took the lead in the top of the third when Nate Moran banged a two-out home run. Jefferson had been trailing 2-1, but Moran hit a first pitch cutter from Madison Foley for a 2-run home run.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Jefferson manager Dan Miller.
