A 3-RBI performance from Scott Lewman helped the George Washington Patriots beat the College Park, 17-6. Craig Mahoney earned the win to go to 3-0. He allowed 3 earned runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Even with the win, the Patriots have a dismal 4-13 record.

In the top of the seventh, Mike Pomeroy stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Park were trailing 17-4, but had the bases loaded. That's when Craig Mahoney made a terrific pitch and Pomeroy struck out. Gone was the dream of a College comeback.
