The Central Tech Blues went home winners at Ottawa HS Grounds, thanks in large part to starter Jeff Mollett. Mollett silenced the Francis Lewis Patriots, enabling Central Tech to grab the 4-1 win. Even with the win, the Blues have a dismal 3-13 record.

Jim Sumner was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk against the Patriots. In the top of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Central Tech in front, 1-0.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Mollett.
