Allison Hits 2 home runs in Panthers Win
The Pleasantville Panthers defeated the Riverside Poly, 7-5, at Apollos Ballpark. Pleasantville third baseman Bruce Allison was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Picking up the save was Robert Simeone, his 2nd. Pleasantville occupies 4th place in the Hank Aaron League Bob Gibson Division at 7-8.

When the Panthers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Allison who delivered. Facing Riverside pitcher Jim Gaudreau the top of the second with the bases loaded, Allison hit his 7th home run of the year. It made the score 6-0.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Allison.
