Lerna Wins, Murray goes 3-for-3
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Danny Murray, the Lerna Lions defeated the Downsview Mustangs, 10-4. Murray was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Lions. The Mustangs fall to 5-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2032 season.
Lerna took the lead in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Greg Makowski stroked a 2-run double to make it 4-2, Lions.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Makowski.
