Teguh Sukarno Goes Distance in Win
|
It was a good time at Ballpark of Monterrey HS, where fans came to watch the Central Tech Blues and Jefferson Indians get after it.
The Jefferson Indians topped the Central Tech Blues, 5-1. Teguh Sukarno, who is rated as the 43rd best prospect by BNN, was named player of the game for his dominant performance. Central Tech, at 2-11, has had a dismal start to the season.
The Blues had few good swings against Sukarno, the right-hander, who threw 112 pitches over 9 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.
"I got in a good groove," said Sukarno. "I was getting some swings and misses."
