In a low-scoring affair between the Rubber City Rhinos and the Mile High Mustangs, pitcher Aidan Turgoose was the difference between victory and defeat. The Rubber City right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 Rhinos win. The winner was Rubber City reliever Shinzo Sasaki, now 5-4. The loser was Rintaro Shinoda. Rubber City is now 43-33, while Mile High is 41-35.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Turgoose. Facing Rintaro Shinoda with the bases empty, the Rubber City left fielder had a solo home run. Game over, walk-off style!

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Turgoose.
