Lions Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Lerna Lions eked out a 4-3 win versus the Topeka West Chargers at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS. Nobody did more than right fielder Soner Al-Dīn, who captured player of the game honors. With the loss, Topeka West drops to 3-6.

Making an impact for Lerna was catcher Logan DiPirro. He drilled a single in the bottom of the third. For the game, DiPirro was 1 for 2 with a walk.

"If we keep winning the close games," DiPirro said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."
