Patriots Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Francis Lewis Patriots bested the Canby Lancers by a score of 9-5, with right fielder Tim Croix getting the main credit. On the day, Croix went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Patriots. Reliever Dave Acker picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Matt Lira took the loss. The Patriots raised their record to 6-3.

Francis Lewis center fielder Rene Hernandez contributed to the cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Hernandez went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
