The Lerna Lions racked up a win at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS, bumping off the Canby Lancers, 6-4. Kevin Hostetter, who started for Lerna, pitched effectively for his team. Jonathan Lalonde was credited with the save for Lerna, his 1st of the season. Lerna has a mark of 5-3 after the win.

Luis Miramontes helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Lerna a 2-0 lead.
