Panthers Deal Poly Painful Loss
|
Kyle Sullivan helped his team muscle past the Riverside Poly, 5-4. In the game, the Pitman High designated hitter was 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Danny Ventimiglia picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Chris Phillips took the loss. With the win, Pitman High pushes its record to 4-1.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Sullivan. Facing Chris Phillips with the bases loaded, the Pitman High designated hitter had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!
