A 4-RBI performance from the 15-year old catcher Brendan Grimes helped the Tioga Central Tigers beat the Montreal Cardinals, 9-2. Losses have been rare for the Cardinals, who are now 3-1.

When the Tigers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Grimes who delivered. Facing Montreal pitcher Antonio Pichardo the top of the seventh with the bases loaded, Grimes hit his 1st home run of the year. It made the score 9-2.

"We're all smiles after that win," Grimes told the Tioga Central Citizen.
