Warhawks Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Seminole Warhawks picked up a win at Attack Ballpark, knocking off the Central Tech Blues, 4-3. Starting pitcher Tom Boothe, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Warhawks, with only their 1st win in 4 games, have not had much to write home about in 2032.
Manny Marin's at-bat in the bottom of the second was significant for the Warhawks. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Seminole leading 2-1, the center fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Marin said.
