The Canby Lancers buried the Tioga Central Tigers, 12-2, under a barrage of hits. Bryce Pope led the onslaught, going 2-for-3 for Canby. Losses have been few and far between for the Tigers so far this season. Their record drops to 2-1.

In the top of the fourth inning, Wayne Rouse contributed a big hit for the Lancers. With Canby leading 1-0, he hammered a 3-run home run.

"They took us to the woodshed," said Tioga Central manager Gabriel McKinnes.
