Warhawks Suffer 6-3 Loss to Indians
|
The Seminole Warhawks and Jefferson Indians brought some excitement to Attack Ballpark.
Jefferson Indians starter Bill Crabbe was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Seminole Warhawks, 6-3. Crabbe, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Brandon Farnham earned his 1st save in 1 tries.
Early in the game, third baseman Juan Avalos had a grand slam home run for Jefferson. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Indians on top, 5-1.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Crabbe.
Jefferson, now 2-0, has gotten their season off to a good start.
