Otterstrom Excels in Grand Island Win
The Grand Island Islanders began the 2032 season with a convincing 13-4 win over the Carl Albert Titans at Ballpark of Morelia HS. Most impressive was Grand Island first baseman David Otterstrom, who was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Bryan Clayton finished the game for Grand Island and earned his 1st save.

Paul Sonnen was one of the major contributors to the win for Grand Island. The light-hitting designated hitter stroked a home run to left in the bottom of the third inning. For the day, he was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"Feels good to get the job done," Sonnen said after the game.
