The 2032 season is off to a good start for the Lerna Lions. The hometown Lions dumped the Tenafly Tigers, 9-8, at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS. Jaime Summers spearheaded the win. He went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times.

The Lions were down to their final out when designated hitter Luis Miramontes turned a 1-2 fastball from Hudson Dewar into a 2-run double. The walk-off double made the Ballpark of Ecatepec HS crowd go wild.

"I like winning," Miramontes told the Lerna News. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
