Kelowna shortstop Dennis Benson had a 6-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 10-5 win over the Saskatoon Legends. Kelowna reliever Ernie Klein picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Zach Arrington shouldered the loss. Kelowna is last in the Lester B. Person League West Division with a record of 22-22.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Saskatoon hurler Zach Arrington, John Sentner hit a sacrifice fly. The Heat went on to win.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Kelowna manager Bob Cunningham.
