The Montreal Royales went down to defeat to Zack Hogan and his London teammates. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Monarchs. Hogan got the win, improving to 6-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Hogan allowed 2 earned runs. London is now 22-21, 3 games up in the Lester B. Person League East Division.
Also pitching in for London was first baseman Bill Barlow, who hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, Barlow went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
