The Calgary Outlaws defeated the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 4-0, at Corvettes Ballpark. Calgary designated hitter Randy Stackhouse was named player of the game for his superb performance. He hit 2 home runs. Bob McConnell picked up the save for Calgary, his 3rd of the year. The first-place Outlaws have won 4 straight.

Stackhouse had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Outlaws went on to win.

Stackhouse said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
