Lupkoski Hits 2 home runs in Heat Win
A nice crowd turned out to see the Kelowna Heat and Montreal Royales clash at Brantford College Grounds.

The Kelowna Heat blasted the Montreal Royales, 15-4. Eric Lupkoski was one of the hitting stars. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for Kelowna. Kelowna reliever Ernie Klein picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Sonny Crousse shouldered the loss.

Lupkoski in the bottom of the fourth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Heat leading 5-4, he hit a grand slam.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Lupkoski.

Kelowna is now 21-20.
