Saints Pick Up 7-5 Win
Kelowna third baseman Eric Leveque had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Leveque went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, even as Trois-Rivieres beat the Heat, 7-5. Leveque was named the player of the game despite the loss. Tim Turley got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Picking up the save was Waldo Perron, his 5th.

Trois-Rivieres grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Paul Marleau delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Saints.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Marleau told the Trois-Rivieres Gazette.

The last-place Saints are now 12-28, the Heat 20-20.
