Eric St.john made an impact in the 6-4 London win over Niagara. St.john, who is tied for 8th in the LBL in extra base hits with 20, was 1 for 1 with 3 walks, while scoring 2 times. London is now 20-20, Niagara 18-23.

There were several reasons the Monarchs beat the Stars, but one factor was Bruce Michaud. In the bottom of the third, the London first baseman came to bat and hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 4-3 lead.

Michaud said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
