Victoria pitcher Bernard Favier gave the Heat all they could handle, but in the end, Kelowna left Ballpark of Chilliwack College with a 5-3 win. Favier allowed 1 earned run on 2 hits over 5 innings. Ken Oxford picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Rich Tanner was tagged with the loss. Marcus Rumbolt finished to wrap up his 7th save.

Eric Lupkoski helped out the Kelowna cause in the top of the 11th inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1.
