Capitals Get Win, Extend Streak to 4

The Victoria Capitals dealt the London Monarchs a 8-4 loss at Hatchets Ballpark. Walker Ray was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Victoria reliever Bob Reusch picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Edmond Achber absorbed the loss. The Capitals, at 18-13, have now won 4 straight.
Ray had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch cutter from Edmond Achber, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Capitals a 7-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Ray.
"I try to not think too much," said Ray.
