Victory Over Saints Takes Saskatoon to 19-10
The Trois-Rivieres Saints and Saskatoon Legends were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Blue Wings Ballpark.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the top prospect Burt Kavanagh, the Saskatoon Legends stopped the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 9-2. Quinn Desjardins picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Peyton Renouf was tagged with the loss.

In the top of the sixth inning, right fielder Ed Drier delivered a key hit for the Legends. With Saskatoon leading 2-1, he ripped a 2-run home run.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Legends manager Allen Cummings.

At 19-10, the Legends have a slim two-game lead in the Lester B. Person League West Division.
