The Montreal Royales relied on the hitting of third baseman Tom Kirby to stop the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 7-2. For the game, Kirby went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Gannon Mason got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits in 5.1 innings. The Royales improve their record to 14-13 with the win over Trois-Rivieres.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, second baseman Tom Watt had a key at-bat for the Royales. With Montreal leading 2-1, he banged a 2-run home run.
