Outlaws Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Saskatoon
|
The Calgary Outlaws topped the Saskatoon Legends, 8-5, with youngster Vaughan Bradley playing a key role. Bradley was 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Outlaws in the win. Calgary reliever Joe Chute picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ralph Sulis absorbed the loss. With the win, Calgary goes to 15-11, while the Legends fall to 17-10.
Bradley had a key at-bat for Calgary early in the game. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Calgary an early 1-0 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Bradley.
