Bryant has 3 hit day, Leads Monarchs to Win

London right fielder Eli Bryant had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Victoria Capitals, 6-4. Emmett Lundy got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. Harry Ayotte finished to wrap up his 5th save.
Bryant had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 2-0 fastball from Mike Patterson, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Monarchs a 4-3 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Bryant.
In postgame comments to the London Times, Bryant said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
The third-place Monarchs are now 12-14, the Capitals 14-12.
