The Trois-Rivieres Saints coasted to a win over the Niagara Stars, 10-2. Randy Jesso had a good day at the plate for Trois-Rivieres. He went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Peyton Renouf got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Stars to no earned runs on 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Picking up the save was Bill Randell, his 2nd.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Bennett Conroy barreled up a curveball from Dave Arden. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Saints in front, 3-0.
