Saskatoon right-hander Jan Woodbury made an effective start against the Trois-Rivieres Saints at Ballpark of Red Deer College, leading his team to a 4-3 win. The Legends, now 14-9, have won 4 in a row.

Eddie Steele brought the hometown crowd to its feet with two out in the bottom of the first. That's when the top prospect belted a 2-run home run. With the round-tripper, the Legends took the lead, 2-0.
