Capitals Pull Even With 6-2 Victory
Victoria got a strong outing from Justin Adler as the Capitals defeated the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 6-2, at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. Victoria reliever Sean Gillis picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jerry Lush absorbed the loss. The last-place Capitals are now 10-10, the Saints 5-15.

Otis Goudie in the bottom of the seventh had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Capitals leading 3-2, the Victoria designated hitter drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I got in a good groove," said Adler. "I was getting some swings and misses."
