Saints Drop Capitals with Late Score

It was pandemonium at Blue Wings Ballpark after an exciting walk-off win.
The Saints grabbed a win, 5-3, at Blue Wings Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Victoria pitcher Dennis Parry. Parry went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Trois-Rivieres, at 4-12, sits in last place in the Lester B. Person League East Division.
Trois-Rivieres took a 5-3 lead on Bennett Conroy's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Victoria pitcher Jim Unknown in the bottom of the ninth.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Conroy said.
