The Saskatoon Legends defeated the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 7-3, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Saskatoon right fielder Travis Walsh was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The last-place Legends improved to 8-8.

A key moment came in the bottom of the sixth inning when Legends third baseman Pearce Balcome socked a 1-0 cutter to left-center for a bases-clearing double, putting Saskatoon up, 7-3.

"It feels good to get this one," Walsh told the Saskatoon Daily.
