The Montreal Royales beat the Kelowna Heat, 5-3, in 11 innings. Montreal center fielder Gilbert Boone merited player of the game honors with his performance. He went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. The Royales raised their record to 6-3.

Richard Adamic said the idea of hitting a home run barely crossed his mind when he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th. Adamic belted a 2-run home run to stake Montreal to a 5-3 lead. His 1st home run of the season came off Kelowna pitcher Jim Unknown.
